HITS FOR KIDS
Co-presented with the Lawrence
Eisman Center for Preparatory Studies in Music at Queens
College.
This innovative new series—geared especially
for children ages six to twelve—features professional
musicians and talented young performers from the CPSM
program. Each performance is hosted by a member of the
CPSM faculty, who will engage the audience in a lively
Q & A. Skip LaPlante, musician and master instrument
builder, will be on hand before each performance to
instruct young audience members in the creation of their
very own hand-made instruments. So come early!

orchestra at a delightful concert with winners of the
annual Center for Preparatory Studies in Music Concerto
Competition. The dazzling virtuosity of our student
soloists performing with full orchestral accompaniment
is sure to amaze and inspire them.
