A new photography exhibition at the Queens College Art Center explores time and change in two cities: New York City and Bologna, Italy. Presented by international artist Simone Caprifogli, the show explores how nostalgia can reveal the essential character of the places we inhabit. “Out of Time, Senza Tempo”, a selection of photographs of two seemingly different cities – Bologna and New York City – makes surprising connections about life in different parts of the world. Shot in black and white, the photographs evoke a timeless quality, suggesting that the more things change, the more they stay the same.
