Chaturang is a Hindi word meaning “four colors.” Under the direction of Malini Shah and Nritya Kala Kendra, we are excited to present an all-new program featuring four outstanding local and international artists demonstrating four signature styles of classic Indian dance. Discover the traditions that inform a vibrant contemporary society. See how facial expressions, hand movements and rhythmic footwork all help tell grand stories and dramas in this narrated program set to the music of harmonium, tabla and tambura.
