Colum McCann is the National Book Award-winning author of the novels This Side of Brightness, Dancer, Zoli, Let the Great World Spin, and, most recently, TransAtlantic. The Denver Post has said: “Let the Great World Spin is one of the 21st century’s most celebrated novels thus far… Not an easy act to follow. But…TransAtlantic is entrancing… McCann folds his epic meticulously into this…volume like an accordion: each pleat holds music—elation and sorrow…lush, intoxicating… mesmerizing.” Kirkus Reviews has described TransAtlantic as “masterful and profoundly moving… A beautifully written novel, an experience to savor.” Library Journal has said: TransAtlantic “assures [McCann’s] status as one of the great prose stylists of contemporary fiction.”

In addition to reading from his work, Mr. McCann will be interviewed by Leonard Lopate.
