Since moving to NYC in 1989 to join Vince Giordano’s Nighthawks, trumpeter Jon-Erik Kellso has enjoyed performing concerts and festivals all over the world with many of the jazz greats.

At home in New York, Kellso’s been leading The EarRegulars at the Ear Inn on Sunday nights since 2007. He recently played a week at Dizzy’s with Wynton Marsalis’ Louis Armstrong Continuum.

Jon is on over 100 recordings, including five as a leader, and can be heard on the soundtracks for “Ghost World,” “The Aviator,” “The Good Shepherd” and “Mildred Pierce” with the Nighthawks. Watch and listen for Kellso in “Revolutionary Road” and “Boardwalk Empire,” for which the Nighthawks recently won a Grammy.
