Featuring the Queens College Choir, Queens College Women’s Choir, and Queens College Orchestra

Inspired by the dramatic tradition of Handel and Bach, Mendelssohn’s Elijah is a vivid musical portrayal of the life of this Old Testament prophet and miracle worker. Featuring some of Mendelssohn’s most famous choruses, it is an extraordinarily powerful and uplifting work. This spring, the Queens College Choral Society, Queens College Choir, Women’s Choir, and Orchestra will join forces in a performance that will include nearly 300 musicians, bringing this monumental and exquisite work to life in one uplifting performance.
