Romeo and Juliet
By William Shakespeare
July 25, 27 & 28 at 8:00 pm
Flushing Town Hall, 137-35 Northern Blvd., Flushing
For the first time in its history, the Summer Festival goes off campus! Taking place in modern day Queens, Shakespeare’s classic love story is set against the backdrop of two first-generation American youths falling in love while their transplanted families, one Israeli Jews, the other Palestinian Muslims, continue their “ancient grudge” which “breaks to new mutiny” on the streets of Flushing.
Directed by Ralph Carhart and co-produced with Flushing Town Hall
All three performances of Romeo & Juliet are sold out. A limited number of seats may become available at the door on the night of each show.
The Queens College Summer Performing Arts Festival is FREE! For more information and to reserve your tickets, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 718.793.8080
