Aisles

For safety and as a courtesy to other ticketholders, please do not sit or stand in the aisles. Aisles should be kept clear at all times. We ask that you comply with these policies. Any patron not in compliance is subject to ejection.

 

Baby Carriage/Strollers

Baby Carriages, and strollers are not permitted in the theater. These items block aisles and may become a fire hazard.  Baskets and car seats are permitted if a patron has purchased a seat to place the car seat on.

 

Bottles and Containers

Outside food and beverages are not permitted in any of our theaters at any time. Bottled water is allowed.

Broken Seats

If your seat is broken, please contact the nearest Usher for further assistance.

 

 

Cancelled/Postponed Events

In the event of a cancelled performance, please visit the KCA homepage for updated information. You can also call the box office at 718-793-8080.

 

Children

For certain events, children under the age of two do not need a ticket, however, they may not occupy their own separate seat and must sit on a parent or guardian’s lap. Anyone over the age of two will need a ticket for admission. For assistance, see the house manager or front of house staff upon arrival.

Following the recommendations of the CDC, NYC Department of Health and CUNY, Kuperberg Center for the Arts is taking precautionary measures with regards to safety and sanitation of our venues.

Door Opening Times

Lobby doors for events at KCA open approximately one hour prior to the event start time. Please note that Colden Auditorium is closed to the public on non-event days.

 

First Aid

Please alert Security or the Theater Manager if you are in need of medical attention immediately.

 

Flash Photography

Photography inside KCA is prohibited at all times. Flash photography is not only distracting to the performers, but to your fellow patrons as well.

Lost Tickets

If you have lost your tickets or they have been stolen before your event takes place, please return to your point of purchase for further assistance. If you have purchased tickets through TicketMaster Phone or TicketMaster Online, please call TicketMaster Customer Service at 866-858-0007.

 

Pets

Other than bona fide service dogs, animals are not allowed inside the public areas of the Kupferberg Center for the Arts.

 

Phones/Cameras

The use of cameras, mobile phones, notepads or any other electronic devices during performances for any purpose (including but not limited to recording, streaming, phone calls, texting, tweets, posts, and viewing internet sites) is strictly prohibited.

 

Prohibited Items

We ask all guests to arrive early and travel light as you may be subject to search. We ask that our guests avoid bringing unnecessary items.  Alcohol, drugs, weapons, bottles, monopods, tripods, selfie-sticks, laser pointers, signs, banners, oversized bags, recording equipment are not permitted inside any of the public areas of the Kupferberg Center for the Arts.

Re-Entry/All Sales Final

Patrons may only enter the theater building once per performance. Patrons who have exited the building may not re-enter even if they present a new ticket.

 

Refunds & Exchanges

All ticket sales are final. There are no refunds or exchanges. In the event the performance is postponed/rescheduled, patrons will have the option of receiving a refund or retain their tickets and use them at the rescheduled performance. KCA encourages all patrons to take advantage of ticket insurance, which can be added at the time of original purchase online.

In compliance with NYC and CUNY policy, smoking (including the use of electronic “vaping” products) is prohibited in the Kupferberg Center for the Arts, and on the campus grounds of Queens College.

Temporary Disabilities

If you have a temporary disability/injury and you have already purchased tickets to an event, please call the box office at 718-793-8080 and we will make the necessary arrangements for you to attend the event. When calling, please have the event, date, section, row, and seat available.

 

Ticket Resales

Please note that New York law prohibits the resale of tickets within five hundred feet from KCA. Unlawful resale can be punishable by fine and/or imprisonment. The only accepted tickets are those that are issued by TicketMaster.

 

Ticket Stubs

Your ticket stub is proof that you are in possession of a valid ticket for the event that you are attending and also designates your correct seat location. This information will also help our staff locate your party in the event that you become separated. KCA staff may ask to see your ticket at any time during the event. You will also need to keep your ticket stub in the rare occurrence an event is cut short for any reason.

Water Fountains

Water fountains are located right outside the restrooms in Colden Auditorium and LeFrak Concert Hall.

 

Will Call

The Will Call window is located at our main entrance, just outside the Box Office of Colden Auditorium. If you are picking up tickets at Will Call, please bring valid photo ID, the credit card used to purchase the tickets with, and your confirmation number. Please be aware that the Will Call window generally closes 1/2 hour after the event start time.
