Led by 2018 Chamber Music America New Jazz Works Recipient, Linda May Han Oh, this dynamic group of musicians will perform The Glass Hours: a collection of works based on abstract themes of the fragility of life and time, particularly exploring the paradoxes and opposites we find ourselves struggling with within our individual and societal values. Born in Malaysia, raised in, Perth, Western Australia, and now based in Harlem, NY, Linda creates a contemporary jazz sound which fuses together genres, crossing borders and borrowing from the materials present in the American mosaic.

This engagement is part of The American Mosaic virtual concert series, which is presented in collaboration with Chamber Music Pittsburgh and the Garth Newel Music Center, and is made possible by Chamber Music America’s Presenter Consortium for Jazz program, funded through the generosity of the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation.
