Considered to be one of the most important visual art events in the NYC hispanic art scene, the New York Latin American Art Triennial celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month with the participation of over 100 Latino artists, local as well as from the Caribbean, Central America and South America. The program includes over 7 art exhibitions throughout the Bronx, Manhattan, and Queens with the theme of “Progressive Transition”. Under this theme the exhibitions of the Triennial will present artworks referring to personal aspects of the sense of belonging. The main objective is to create awareness in the arts by developing an international network with Latin American or culturally related artists, as well as establish the opportunity to exhibit the best of their works. The event aims to motivate the creative mind and challenge the contemporary global art community. These group exhibitions, will present art as an expression of the human condition and it reflects the notions of progress, civilization, welfare, society and culture. NY Latin American Art Triennial is aimed to increase arts appreciation and cultural exchange. Exhibits will be open to the public during the months of September throughout December 2019. All the events are family oriented and celebrate not only the richness of the Latin American art but, also the diversity of our community.
