The Department of Drama, Theatre, and Dance presents Kiss, a play by Chilean playwright Guillermo Calderón, set in Damascus, Syria. This premise leads us to the play’s central question: how do we approach cross-cultural representation when so much is lost in translation? Through a twisty and comedic journey, Kiss delves deeper than a superficial exploration of cultural differences.
