Celebrate Cinco de Mayo with the vibrant sounds of Flor de Toloache, the Latin GRAMMY®-winning, two-time GRAMMY®-nominated ensemble that has redefined mariachi with bold artistry and fearless innovation. Founded in New York City as the city’s first all-women mariachi group, Flor de Toloache blends the rich traditions of mariachi with influences from jazz, soul, and pop, creating a sound that is both rooted in heritage and refreshingly contemporary. Having shared the stage with artists including John Legend, Alicia Keys, and Mon Laferte and performed at Coachella, Tiny Desk, and Newport Folk Festival, the acclaimed ensemble brings dazzling musicianship, soaring vocals, and infectious energy to this festive celebration.

Founded in 2008 by Mireya Ramos and Shae Fiol, Flor de Toloache began as New York City’s first all-women mariachi group, captivating audiences with performances in subway stations, dive bars, and clubs before rising to international acclaim. The Latin GRAMMY®-winning, two-time GRAMMY®-nominated ensemble has redefined mariachi through bold storytelling, powerful vocals, and innovative genre fusion.

Known for blending tradition with contemporary influences, Flor de Toloache has collaborated with acclaimed artists including Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys, Alicia Keys, John Legend, Miguel, Mon Laferte, and Natalia Lafourcade. Their dynamic performances have been featured at major festivals including Coachella, Austin City Limits, Newport Folk Festival, and Montreal Jazz Festival, as well as NPR’s Tiny Desk and Apple TV’s Little Voice.

With a global touring history spanning the U.S., Mexico, Colombia, India, Europe, Japan, and New Zealand, Flor de Toloache continues to expand the reach of mariachi while honoring its rich heritage. Their groundbreaking albums have earned recognition from outlets including Pitchfork, Billboard, Rolling Stone, and NPR, with their album Las Caras Lindas making history as the first all-women group to win Best Ranchero Album at the Latin GRAMMY® Awards.
