Join us on opening night to celebrate the rich legacy of jazz in Queens! Inspired by the iconic Queens Jazz Trail Map, this free concert series brings the borough’s rich jazz history to life in beautiful community parks—where legends like Armstrong, Coltrane, Fitzgerald, and more once called home.
Wayne Tucker is a Grammy-nominated trumpeter, composer, arranger, vocalist, violinist, educator, author, actor, and model based in New York City. He has toured and recorded with a wide range of acclaimed artists, including jazz greats Kurt Elling, Dee Dee Bridgewater, and Cyrille Aimée; pop icons like Taylor Swift, David Crosby, and Elvis Costello; R&B artists Ne-Yo and Gabriel Garzón-Montano; hip-hop performers Jidenna and Ryan Leslie; and the rock band Brass Against.
